Our client is a world leader.  They design and deliver IT enabled business solutions that help Global 2000 companies win in a 'flat' world.  These solutions focus on providing strategic differentiation and operational superiority to clients.  Our client creates these solutions by leveraging its domain and business expertise along with a complete range of services and a Global Delivery Model that they pionered.

We are managing the search for a Group Engagement Management for the Retail Practice.  This role can be based in the Netherlands or Belgium and will work closely with the Head of the Industry Business Unit.  Retail is one of the best performing businesses for our client and this role requires an individual of outstanding quality and experience.

Our client is particularly interested in candidates with a retail background who have worked for one of the top management consultancies, demonstrating that they have the scale of experience and professional background required. Our client is a world leader in delivering IT enabled solutions to Global 2000 companies.

Their Retail practice is one of the most successful business units and we are seeking an Account Manager to work exclusively with one client - a major brand.

This is an incredible opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded, professional.  You must have a first degree and a post graduate qualification (ideally an MBA).  It is a great advantage if you have work experience in retail related industries such as the CPG industry or a branding consultancy.

Client facing skills, stategic and innovative thinking and excellent operational skills are all required for this role.

Tasks:
•         Take the lead in developing select, named, longer term opportunities
•         Be active in developing strategic vision for the account
•         Assist the Global Sales effectiveness team
•         Support the team in managing the Opportunity pipeline
•         Facilitate sales processes and behaviours

Information Management Systems

Our retained client is a fast-growth, globally dispersed organisation, for whom data lies at the very heart of its business operations, competitive differentiation and enterprise value.

The newly-created position of CIO will be responsible for ensuring the organisation's technology strategy and infrastructure meet both the tactical and strategic commercial needs of the organisation.

The appointed CIO will report directly to the CEO, and will manage a global team.

S/he will take ownership of the design, architecture, construction and maintenance of the company's proprietary information system and ensure that it is fully linked, documented and secure.

The CIO will also define and deliver a cost-effective global IT strategy that will continue to enable business growth and further improved customer services, and:

Maximise IT ROI.

Contribute to the success of the business as a member of the senior management team, and provide technology leadership to that team.

Candidates will have operated in an international environment, and possess a strong information management background from a complex, high transaction, high availability environment/s such as: retail, FS, passenger airlines, telecommunications, etc.

S/he will be thoroughly commercial, and fully understand where IT fits into the enterprise value chain.

Cultural fit into a pragmatic, entrepreneurial, fast-growth global business.

The ideal candidate will possess a perfect blend of commercial and technical skills and experience, and be able to contribute short-term and tactically, as well as long-term and strategically.

The position is based on the south coast of England, and will require international travel, most frequently to the US.
