Our client is an established venture-capital backed provider of mobile device management and security solutions to major enterprises worldwide. Headquartered in the UK, the company now wishes to appoint a Chief Technology Officer. Reporting to the CEO, and an integral member of the executive management team, the successful candidate will lead the activities of the 30 employee strong development organisation in delivering Symbian, Microsoft and Java based solutions. The CTO will also be expected to play a key role in external activity including leading client and commercial partner dialogue, leveraging relationships with influencers in the mobile device ecosystem such as the specialist media and industry analysts, and participating in high-level seminar, conference and trade show work internationally. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a successful track-record in an engineering leadership role, and be well-known and respected throughout the international mobile device ecosystem. Reporting to the CEO, the role of VP Marketing has been created with responsibility for the organisation's global marcoms and PR. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's rebranding and market repositioining internationally, and for maximising brand value and awareness.
